WorkSmart’s Story
Began over 20 years ago when staffing was called temporary help. Twenty years ago no staffing company was talking about productivity or compliance. Twenty years ago, PCs were just landing on the desks of clerical workers and Word Perfect and Lotus were the software packages that were intimidating office staff.
In response, WorkSmart took the lead by offering small, personal, intensive computer software classes before companies had training centers and IT departments. And, twenty years ago, WorkSmart was the first temporary help company in Greenville County with an on-site coordinator managing over 100 workers at a client location.
Innovation being our hallmark, we are still working with the future in mind. Though much has changed, much stays the same. We are still interviewing applicants and still providing workers in many different capacities to wonderful, loyal customers that we can also call our friends.
As the owners of WorkSmart, we won’t promise the sun, the moon or the stars, but we will promise out-of-this-world commitment and hard work surpassed by no one.
